1 August 2005 people with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) will benefit from Ritalin®, tablets  now subsidised through the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS).

This listing will provide patients with a choice of two PBS-listed drugs for ADHD and will cost the PBS between $1.4 and $1.7 million each year over the next four years.  PBS co-payment (currently $4.60 for concessional patients and $28.60 for general patients) will now apply

This only applies to scripts written after 1 August 2005.
